Joghurt-Spinat-Dip

Some love it, others can't stand it. I belong to the former group. Spinach is a true superfood with many nutrients and health benefits. It is a good source of vitamins A, C and K, as well as iron, calcium and folic acid. Plus, the antioxidants in spinach can help reduce inflammation and lower the risk of chronic disease. This fresh yogurt spinach dip is a highlight at any dinner party or as a side dish to a grilled main course.

Bon appetit,

Anna

Ingredients

6 frozen leaf spinach cubes

1 tbsp. unsalted butter

1 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg

500 grams of natural yogurt 3.6% fat

1 tsp caramelized onion

2 cloves of garlic

salt and pepper

Preparation

Heat butter in a pan, add spinach leaves and defrost over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Spinach is ready when it is soft. Season with nutmeg and salt and pepper, set aside and let cool.

In a bowl, combine yogurt, onion, and freshly squeezed garlic and stir to combine. Add the cooled spinach, salt and pepper to taste. Serve as a dip.
